The first logo of KaAS was designed in 2008 by Mr. Akber Hussain. Back then, we used to call our society KAAS.
In 2011, KAAS participated in World Space Week Oct 2011, when Abubaker Shekhani, founding member of KAAS initiated the idea of KAS T-Shirts.
New Logo
Adnan Shekhani took over the challenge of designing and printing T-Shirt. Special thanks to Mr. Adnan Shekhani.
The logo of Karachi Astronomers Society was redesigned by Adnan Shekhani (brother of Abubaker Shekhani) and his wife. Here is the logo of Karachi Astronomres Society which is being used for 10 years on our website, T-shirts, Car stickers, and all of KAS merchandise. Mr. Khalid Marwat (founding member of KAS) suggested that we put the North star’s (Polaris) constellation (Canis Minor) in the logo because Pakistan is situated in Northern Hemisphere.

The KAS tag line is suggested by Adnan Shekhani who is inspired by our great poet Iqbal and the vision of Karachi Astronomers Society which is to explore stars and beyond!
KAS T-shirt
KAS T-shirts were designed and printed with our new logo and tagline. These T-shirts are one of our cool item which our enthusiasts are willing to wear since 2011. :-)
